Job Opening – Professional Contract Position (Master's Degree) in the Division of Monitoring Research & Health Education (Second Section)

Qualifications:

1. A master's degree from a domestic or foreign accredited institution, with relevant training or experience related to the position.

2. Background in public health, medicine, information science, or statistics. Candidates with coursework in statistics, research methods, or experience in statistical analysis are preferred.

3. Proficiency in statistical software (e.g., SAS, R, STATA) and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

4. Responsible, proactive, adaptable, and able to complete assigned tasks efficiently.

5. Among equally qualified candidates, preference will be given to those with:

   • At least 2 years of experience in health monitoring surveys or population health research.

   • Intermediate to advanced English proficiency.
     Due to the sensitivity of the work, foreign nationals are not eligible for this position.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Planning and execution of national health monitoring surveys, including data collection and response handling.

2. Data processing, analysis, and report writing related to health monitoring and research.

3. Administrative tasks related to health surveys, including coordination of questionnaire design and survey logistics.

4. Planning, organizing, and executing meetings and special projects.

5. Analysis of adolescent smoking and health behavior surveys, health promotion project data, routine administrative tasks, and other assigned duties.
   The position may involve job rotation based on organizational needs.

3. Selection Process:

   • Initial document review based on qualifications and experience.

   • Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an interview (date & location to be announced). Bring original ID for verification.

   • Results Announcement:

     • Unsuccessful applicants will not be individually notified.

     • A 3-month waiting list will be created for backup candidates, who may be considered for similar positions if openings arise.

Salary:

NT$42,640 – NT$54,600 per month
