✽How to sign up for the coursera online courses (assignment research, data processing, derivative products, introduction to database):
For students with Coursera accounts only, please go to the statistics department office to register for additional courses with Assistant Professor Chi-ching Wu in the first week of school (113.9.9~9.13).

In order to facilitate students to choose courses related to this department, the department has announced the following notices for course selection in the first semester of the 113 academic year:

(1) The registration and endorsement procedures for courses in this department in the first semester of the 113 academic year are as follows:
     (1) Registration acceptance time: 113.9.9 (Monday) ~ 113.9.13 (Friday).
          Registration shall be made at the first class hour of the first week of each subject’s term and must be registered with the teacher in class.
          (The QR code form will be opened in the classroom for students to fill in, so there is no need to bring your own signature form). Those who have not registered for the first class will not be accepted to register for additional courses unless there are special reasons.
     (2) After registration, unless the teaching teacher has a recommended priority list or a number limit, the additional selection list will be based on the capacity of the classroom, and priority will be given according to the remaining number in the following order:
          a. Students in this department (preference is given to seniors); students with double majors/minor departments in this department can only be considered as classmates in this department if they take dual major/minor courses listed in this department.
          b. This subject is a course other than the required subjects for the student’s department (preference is given to seniors).
          c. This subject is not a compulsory subject for the student's department. It is for fresh graduates in grade 4 or above.
          d. Students from other grades who are from other departments (the remaining number will be drawn after completing a, b, and c above).

(2) Processing time for course addition:
     (1) Between 113.9.9 (Monday) and 113.9.13 (Friday), after the first class of each course in the first week, the teaching assistant will manually complete the addition of all courses.
     (2) If the application cannot be processed before this time for some reason, the selection will be postponed to the special reasons plus withdrawal stage from 113.9.23 (Monday) to 113.9.25 (Wednesday). Students can go to the course selection system to check whether they have added courses.

(3) The course affixing method of this department will be subject to rolling revisions in accordance with the regulations of the Central Epidemic Command Center or the Ministry of Education. Students are advised to pay attention to the announcements on the department's website at any time.
